Riley and Bella

Riley

Riley is an AKC registered tan and white beagle. He is 13" tall and weighs 24lbs. He came from a breeder in Washington. His mother is a tan and white and his father is tri-colored. As a puppy Riley was a bit mischievous taking the opportunity to steal the dish towel off the stove to engage us in a game of chase. He has since grown out of his mischievousness and is a very sweet affectionate dog. Riley loves to get a chew toy and sit next to us on the couch while we watch TV. Riley knows all his commands spoken or by signing. He has a very soft mouth which we had to teach him; he never snaps a treats being given to him. Riley does not gorge himself on food like the stereotypical beagle does. Some days he lets his breakfast sit until dinner.

Bella

Bella is an unregistered purebred beagle. She is AKC quality as her father is AKC registered and her mother could be but her owners did not choose to get that done as they just wanted her for a family pet with no intentions of competing her. Pictures of Bella's parents are below. She came from a family who breeds their two family Beagles just east of Salem, Oregon. Bella is rare chocolate beagle with green eyes. She is 13"tall and weighs 23lbs. She has been nothing but sweet and snuggly since we got her. She is content to sit on the floor with a toy or curl up in our lap and get her ears rubbed. She is a quiet dog, only barking when there is a need.

Riley and Bella love to go anywhere with us. They love car rides and do really well traveling. We go to the beach, hiking, camping, and plan to take them to Glacier National Park with us in September. We have learned many useful tips to successfully taking and enjoying them on our adventures.
